Suree is a hard-working restaurateur in Perth’s northern suburbs. Originally from the Isaan area of North East Thailand. She migrated to Australia in 2010. Suree’s friend sold the restaurant to Chai in 2012. On 5 February 2025, Suree bought the Kingsley Thai Kitchen Restaurant, as it was then called and renamed it to Suree’s Thai Restaurant Perth.
Suree is the owner, manager, hostess and chef. She is a keen foodie with a great interest in cooking. She speaks Isaan, Thai and English. Suree works part-time morning shifts at RPH and afternoon/evenings for her restaurant. She focuses on her passion for cooking Thai food. Suree’s daughter works as a part-time waitress at the restaurant. She was born in the Vietnamese town (sic) of Thabo in the northeast Thai province of Nong Khai.
Our other waitress is from a Thai family in Perth. Her mother teaches cooking at TAFE in Perth.
Suree cares for the Perth environment and is switching from plastic takeaway containers to waxed cardboard containers despite the latter costing Suree more she’s capped the price of these containers at $1.
Because Suree has improved the quality of Thai food ingredients, the popularity of her Thai restaurant has increased. To save disappointment, she recommends booking early or booking late or booking mid-week. On popular/busy nights, to reduce waiting times, phone orders and 3rd party delivery app orders are suspended until wait times for existing orders are reduced.
